Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

I haven’t been creative for quite a while and I am blaming it on a crook back – I was doing a routine chore like oiling our new deck about six months ago and while on hands and knees I stretched my back – cat style.  Unfortunately for me I did a small twist at the same time and hey presto a couple of discs decided to protrude causing several trips to the physio and a lot of agitation.  Thankfully things are on the mend and if I get up from my computer every hour or so life goes back to normal.

For people that don’t know, all my drawings are created in MS Word (insert shapes, circles and squares etc).  Please meet my new friends.

Cat on a Hot Tin Roof

The cat stood on the hot tin roof

His long, black tail just swishes,

He took a leap, into the creek,

And was chased by little fishes.

  1. about time we had some more creative flourishes from you, young gran! sorry to hear about your back – no more cat stretches or you’ll end up in the creek of pooh like your cat in the story above, with no paddle! welcome back and big hugs!

    • Thank you Nancy. I’ve just put “The Chook Book” on Power Point with added sound – so now we have a talking ebook. AND i have saved it as a video, so the next thing to learn is how to get it on my website. One step forward and ten steps back.
