It’s The Beatles

drawing The Beatles in MS Word

Back to the 60s

My sister was 60 the other week and we threw a party for her, as you do for such a milestone.  The theme for the party – you’ve guessed it – the 60s, and we dressed up in outfits of the times.

You can’t mention the 60s without mentioning The Beatles.  They were my idols throughout that decade, and my attempt at recreating my heroes is as shown.  I have drawn the picture using the “insert shapes” tab on Microsoft Word which never ceases to amaze me.

I thought I would share a little ditty about the fab 4 that was around one Christmas all those years ago.  It goes to the tune of “We Three Kings of the Orient Are.”

Four Lads From Liverpool

We four lads from Liverpool are,

Paul in a taxi, John in a car.

George on a scooter papping his hooter

Followed by Ringo Star.
